Last week we had our engagement party. It took months of planning, and it was such a success. We all had such a wonderful night and everything looked exactly as we imagined it.
I’ll be creating a blog post soon on tips for planning an engagement party, but first I just wanted to share a few photos from the night. Although, I didn’t take many as I was so busy in the moment and with mingling. However, we did have a photographer so I will have more pictures soon!
(I have blurred out mine and my fiancé’s names, as I don’t like putting our full names on the internet, however I will leave our initials in)
I opted for the colour scheme – White, black and gold. Classy and elegant. At first, the idea of a black colour scheme was just a joke (for the inner goth in me) but it turned serious and I’m so glad it did because the colour schemes worked so well.
We scattered photos of us all on the tables, created our own centre pieces, purchased balloon clusters and a balloon arch from a party company, and my Fiancé’s Dad even made us our very own personalised 7ft heart shaped cake stand which was the highlight of our venue! We also had personalised cupcakes made with our names, rings, proposing stickmen, and champagne bottles – All fitting in with our colour scheme.
It was such a wonderful night.. the next step is the wedding!
I hope you enjoyed these photos and be sure to look out for my upcoming blog post with further details on how to arrange an engagement party.
See you soon!
