2019 was an incredible year, and I wanted to take the opportunity on this post to reflect on my happiest moments.
So many happy memories were made – I saw John Mayer live. What a dream that was! I’ve always dreamed of seeing John Mayer and I never thought it would happen, he barely tours the UK, but I finally got to see him, and it was so breath taking. It was as amazing as I’d pictured in my mind for all these years. Not only did I see John Mayer but I also saw Twenty One Pilots and George Ezra. Who were both incredible too.
I went to Paris, I went back to Rhodes and travelled to a few different places in the UK. One of the highlights being a fishing trip to the seaside. We stayed in a static home and lived off BBQ’s and alcohol with the sun shining down on us.
I spent time with my loved ones. That in itself is a privilege – to be surrounded by the people I love. There’s nothing better in the world.
I got engaged! It was the most special and magical moment of my whole life and if I could live any moment in my life over and over again – it would be that moment. We celebrated in style and threw an engagement party which was so much fun.
I got offered a permanent position for a new job role in my company, which I love! I still have my bad days, don’t get me wrong – we all have stressful days at work! But I love the job, it’s exactly what I pictured my perfect job to be. Although my dream job is still to be an author, which I am going to spend 2020 working towards as I did slack in 2019!
I hope you enjoy looking through some of my favourite moments from 2019, and let me know in the comments what your highlights for 2019 have been.
See you all on the next post,
