OOTD – Run To The Hills

Happy Friday guys! Do you know what this means? It’s time for the weekend! I’ve also posted every single day this week as well as working my full time job, socialising, going to the gym AND writing my book. I do plan on having the weekend off, as I’ve had such a busy week I literally have not stopped.

So.. I thought I would end the week on an outfit post.

Tonight I am wearing this Iron Maiden dress. I’ve had this dress for so long! And it’s not really the most flattering dress to wear on its own, as it quite baggy. It does nothing for my figure. However! I am all about reusing old clothes and bringing them back to life as opposed to going out and wasting money on clothes, when I already have a wardrobe full. Sometimes your old clothes just need some TLC to look good again. I’ve changed so much over the past few years. I used to be obsessed with buying new clothes and now I barely do. It’s not good for the environment (you know, clothes ending up in landfills and the unethical side of things) or my bank account.

I would love to start doing my charity shop styling/hauls again soon though. Which I love because you’re spending money on a good cause and at the same time, you’re recycling other people’s old ‘hand me downs!’

Anyway, to spruce this old dress up, I decided to add a sheer black maxi skirt over the top (which I’ve also had for years) and then to top the look off I added a belt and chain. I love wearing a chain with every outfit. Going to a wedding? Christening? Job interview? Chain me up! I’m obsessed.

Of course I styled this with my trusty Doc Martens and this hat which gives me major ‘American Horror Story Coven’ vibes. This hat really can make an outfit go from 0 to 100. I love it.

On my lips I am wearing ‘Deceased’ by Jeffree Star which is just love!

What are you all up to this weekend? Let me know in the comments and like this post if you… liked this post?

See you next week!!
