Claire’s Accessories Haul – Hair clips & chokers
I popped into Claire’s Accessories the other day.
Claire’s used to be one of my favourite shops, especially when I was a teenager so when I was stood looking at the chokers and a shop assistant came up to me and said that they had a ‘Buy 3 get 3 free’ sale on, the inner teenager in me had mini heart palpations and I went to grab myself a basket.
I was in dire need of necklaces and chokers. All of mine had gone tatty or had broken, and I love wearing chokers! They can make a whole outfit go from 0-100 and add that extra something.
I also wanted to look at the hair accessories – I had seen a few YouTube videos of different styles for curly hair, and a lot of the Youtubers accessorised with pretty clips so I wanted to purchase some accessories to spruce up my own hair.
Low and behold, I still spent way too much money, but how could you pass up on an offer like that?! In this post, I’ll be sharing with you what I purchased.
The first thing I picked up were these gorgeous chokers!
As I said, I love chokers and I love how there’s a variety of chokers in each pack, so you can mix and match them with each other.
All of the chokers together came to £28 which I don’t think is a bad price considering there’s multiple chokers per pack.
The next item I picked up was this really sweet looking headband. Now I don’t own any headbands and I don’t usually wear headband, however I had seen a YouTuber style their curly hair with one and it looked great, so I wanted to try it for myself. I did actually take the little bow part off the headband as I felt it looked a little too much in my hair, but I can turn this piece of material into a hair scrunchy, so it’s a win win situation!
There was a huge variety of headbands to choose from so I was spoilt for choice.
Carrying on with the theme of hair accessories, my next purchase was these sunflower hair clips. These looks so nice pinned into a messy hair bun and if you style your hair into a middle part and pin a clip either side of your head.
These clips just had a little extra something to your look, and they cost £6!
The final item I picked up was a pair of small gold hoop earrings. I love jewellery and over the last year I’ve became a big jewellery lover. I’m trying to build up my earring collection as I only have one decent pair. So I purchased these for £14 and they are just a nice simple pair to spruce up your look.
As I said, I only paid for 3 of these items and the other 3 were free, so if you have a Claire’s near you I would recommend popping by to treat yourself to some nice new hair accessories, jewellery or even a nice new phone case. Claire’s is just one of those fun shops that are so good to have a mooch around.
I hope you enjoyed this post, and I’ll see you all on the next one!
