Day to Night OOTD – Back In Black 🖤

Hi guys!

Just wanted to share with you my look of the day and also my look of the night!

Today I have been running errands with my fiancé. Our engagement party is next weekend, so we needed to shop around for our last few bits and pieces. I took my party dress to an alterations shop to get turned up a few inches. I also picked up a few goodies for myself along the way, which I will show you soon.

I always seem to wear black. It’s one of my favourite colours to wear. Today I styled a long sheer skirt with a pair of black shorts and one of my favourite tops! I love the style of this top, the way the sleeves puff out yet the middle is quite tight due to the elastic material.

Of course I wore my trusty, and extremely battered Doc Martens. I’ve had these boots since I was 14! And they’re still going strong 9 years later. But you can tell they’re getting on now.. I may invest in a new pair soon. These shoes last a seriously long time though. I had them for my 14th birthday, you know back in the day where they would only cost you £45. (The price of them have rocketed!)

I wore my Michael Kors studded backpack. Without a doubt, this is my favourite bag. It’s such a good size, and the style of this bag is so me. Black and studded.

To top the look off, I went for purple eyeshadow with my new Beauty Bay eyeshadow palette, which I am so impressed with.

So, moving onto the night. We decided to go to the pub for a drink or two and we also popped in to a party that was being hosted in the area.

So again, sticking with the black theme (of course!) I wore this black dress, these gorgeous black heels which absolutely cripple my feet (on the walk home, my fiancé ended up giving me his shoes!) and a leather jacket because the nights are getting colder.
